These documents may be downloaded and printed free of charge. Please consult the Advocacy list for up-to-date information on web sites, addresses and phone numbers for the various organizations, some of which have changed since the publication of the various patient and family guides.

Some files are in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. You can download the free Acrobat Reader here: TROUBLESHOOTING. Most problems occur in the interface between Acrobat and the web browser. Files do not open until they are completely loaded. We recommend right clicking and saving the files to your computer before opening. Try right-clicking on the hyperlink and choose "save as" to save the guideline directly to your hard disk. If you receive an error message stating that the file does not begin with %pdf, please close the error screen and hit Ctrl+F5 on your keyboard. This will refresh the command and the PDF should load in your browser.
